Gouri Devi Nursing Academy started its journey on August, 2013 under Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology and Management Society by seeing an altruistic initiative of Gouri Devi Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital in health care system of Durgapur & its adjoining areas. We are well aware of the nuances, the demand & supply gap between health care industry requirements and Institutes that churn out such health care professionals. It is after experiencing first-hand how desperately health care industry needs quality personnel to fulfill this gap.

To provide quality healthcare services, there are various statutory bodies regulating education and training in various fields of health care services. Gouri Devi Nursing Academy is one of its kind in the allied health sciences in eastern India conducting GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, Paramedical courses in allied health sciences in this part of the country.

Initially Gouri Devi Nursing Academy started its journey with General Nursing and Midwifery course on August, 2013 and gradually B.Sc. Nursing and Paramedical courses has been opened under this one tree.
